Direct cremation

Direct cremation takes place without a funeral-home ceremony. The required services, transportation, authorization, container and return of the cremated remains are described individually and in writing.

A service before cremation

A visitation or funeral may take place before cremation. The family can gather in the chapel or another appropriate setting, with the cremation occurring after the service and required authorizations.

A memorial after cremation

A memorial gathering can be held after cremation, allowing more time for relatives to travel or for the family to choose a meaningful date and place. Urn placement, burial, scattering and keepsake options are discussed without pressure.
